airhoverfactor bug

Post by Caydr »

Airhoverfactor is a tag used to control how much a ship wiggles when it's in dontland mode. It works only two thirds right now... It controls how quickly a unit will wiggle on the X and Z axes (left, right, back, forward) but not on the Y axis (up/down)... I think it's probably a simple typo, since it works for the other parts perfectly.

As it is, the only way to reduce the kinda ridiculous amount gunships wobble up and down is by reducing their acceleration dramatically.

Disclaimer: I'm usually wrong about everything.

That looks like something that I could probably fix, but not until I have NanoBlobs release-ready.

That would be nice, I was kindof tired of the problems with that tag ;)

I think it's something about the plane not correctly noticing its altitude or hitting the brakes.
