That is enough to blow anyfan's capillarys out by sudden blood rushingness. Now if anyone dosent know what the heck Firefly is, other than a small insect that glow's, ill explain.
The show, on whitch the movie is set in, was basicaly cowboy's in space. That sounds like crap right? Well it rocks beyond anything you would of imagined. It hillarious, exiting and has great charicters. ALso it has my hands down favoret line EVER! See the setting is 500 or so years in the future, where humainity has become a massive, eclectic society. Ethincit's have blended creating a bizzar mix of races and culture. However only two actual superpowers survived, Chinea and USA. So every one, from high born aristocrats to white trash can speak chinees and engilsh fluently.
The main charicter, Malcom Reynolds was a sergent on the loseing side of a bloody civel war owns a smallish freighter called Serenity. Him and his crew of misfits try to eek out a living through small crimes and semi-legitimet buisness. However when they pick up two fugitives from the opressive allience goverment their lives get extreamly interesting....
The moive, called Serenity, will be about their escapades and because it has the original writer, directors, producers, and cast of the show, die hard fans (like me) will be hapy.
Fireflay however was one of those show's where no head about it. That was why it only lasted on seson on Fox(shudder). However its realy worth getting that one seson on DVD, and whatching the glorious episodes.
Oh and my favoret line is said when the crew get a box in the mail that contains a dead war buddy of the captins. As the crew looks into the box with shock, one of them comments "what did you order a dead guy for?"
