Hi guys i have a request for a new map.

As you all know there is a group of springers who like to play greenfields. Had a chat with some of the die hard players and we would adore another map like greenfields.

What most liked to see changed is the brightness. Greenfields tends to be a lil dark. A texture and lightning like Noizes Small Supreme would be to die for :-)

Also to speed it up a bit each player would need 10 m (in mines) and 1 geo vent.

Mostly played are 2 v 2 v 2 v 2, 4v4 or 5v5 and sometimes 3v3v3 so we prob need different mexes setup per gamestyle.

We hope someone would like to take on this task.

Btw mapname suggestion: SimBase :twisted:

What size map would you like to have made?
How many Geos per side 5 or 6 ?
On the metal deposits, what about metal features?
Say like 10 or so metal boxes, like in C&C each
giving 500 units of metal.

You could always edit the MaxMetal to 0 in the SMD of any map. You should rename the smd and smf file (use ethe same new name) avoid sync issues and confusion with people using the original version. Do NOT rename the smt.

Example;

Somemap_NoMetal.smd
Somemap_NoMetal.smf
Somemap.smt

Map size 16 x 16

for 2 v 2 v 2 v 2
8 players boxes in the corner 1 geo each
1-3 metal hexes per player giving arround 10 m yield.

4 v 4 or 5 v 5

8 or 10 players

spawn north / south
Geos and metal equally divided allong the border. Ofc same as the ammount of players.

Unfortunatly were not all made of time... :-) and most of us have our own progects! So be patient, It may be a while befor someone comes along.
