I'm not going to help people who aren't respectful and generally nice. I don't get paid for this, and that's the currency I expect to get paid in.

Look, Buggi... this isn't about "blame", or the "high road". I have realised that this was just a complete waste of my time, and I'm not going to waste any more of it, ok? For the record, LathanStanley's models are the best things since sliced bread, he's an awesome game artist, and you and Forboding are both right- I'm just a troll, who shouldn't have posted here! Are we all happy now?

Actually, I was being sarcastic. I think it's pretty pathetic to have edited all your original messages like that.

But that's just me. I hold no ill will towards anyone. I just think this thread could have been handled much differently if help is what you wanted to give.

Intentions, and others perceptions often do not meet perfectly. Care must be taken at all times to avoid the clash.

I'm not giving up on Spring. This has nothing to do with my ultimate involvement in the project. I'm just done being in this sub-Forum, which has always been more trouble than it's worth.

lathans comparison screenies tell it all, the dds looks like crap compared to the full res textures.

Isn't the best approach to release these features with high res textures and low res textures and let the mapmakers decide what to use?
Anyway I'm on a really slow end here and Energy Spire Plains, which used quite a lot of his, err spires :-), wasn't noticeably slower than any map of same size anyway. Might be useful for larger maps which use tons of these features, though.

I'm just gonna post, and ignore any comments from now on.. literally...

I've got abilities to contribute, and I will contribute...

but reading over this, over and over for the last 2 days, and put more stress on me than I like to think about... same for my arguments on the AA thread....

I don't need stress... the only reason I didn't blow up, start name calling, and cussing... is probably because I was drunk for the last 24 hours... or mildly buzzed...

I had the days off, I had the beer.. I got to a milestone with my models... why not?

blah... :(

again. I'm just gonna post what I have, and what I create as I go, and walk away.. what you say, is what you say. what "they" say about it, they say about it...
