Hollowsoul has been discussing with ema nd betalord the use of mod images in lobby.
Thus we sort of agreed around 3 bitmaps a 100x100,64x64,24x24 images for mods.
As the modders of spring what are your opinions on this? Suggestions on filenames? Disagree with the fiel format? fiel sizes?

There would be only 1 logo image, probably 100x100 bitmap or jpg (you can scale it down manually if you need smaller ones). This image could probably be used with new content site (it would extract the logo automatically and put it on the site), it would also be visible in the lobby in a "online mods" dialog similar to "online maps".
I wanted jpegs and 64x64 but compromised (caved in) to 100x100 bitmaps for betalord and hollowsoul.
However I then talked with hollowsoul who suggested small 24x24 icons which i agreed with. Now you're not gonna like seeing a 100x100 image squished into a 24x24 square?
And I am supporting 64x64 alone unless joined, aswell as 24x24 with hollowsoul.
I'm personally all for png, but it's betalord and hollowsoul you'd need pursuading as we all have to agree for it to change.

I'm pretty sure there are png libs for every language. But if it can't be helped, jpgs are fine anyway.
