I click host, type in game name and such, click test, and it says:
Failed. You probably won't be able to host with these settings
I have the correct port forwarded on TCP and UDP. What else could be the problem?
I'm having trouble hosting a game.

I'm running on a linksys router and I made my gaming pc the DMZ to avoid these types of issues, but I fail the test as well. I've configured spring manually with the WAN address of my network, and I was wondering if there is anything else I should think of. I turned my firewall off to take that out as much as possible. I can play games with some people just fine, but some people actually crash when they join my battleroom, etc.

checked and double checked. Inputting into the configuration dialog didn't help. All the ports in the "ports" sticky are forwarded correctly. I know my router forwards ports right because i use bittorrent... any more ideasjouninkomiko wrote:the IP the server is detecting you with might be different. Try inputting it manually to the Configuration dialog. Also, double check the port forwarding and the firewall settings.
