face in ta= 4 sided poly = quad in ta

however most people count triangles as pollies optimus. Good looking model btw.

until you are able to animate the units with a 3d programm like 3ds max and not by script - no chance.
I think organic units would look odd in spring or you have to script them very very good only to make a nice move animation. Just have a look on TA Kindoms.
Also a melee system like in dawn of war (wh 40k) is missing in spring where you can design finishing moves ;-)

Face at the graphics card = triangle. That's where the triangle counting comes from.

OK, here's my idea on how this mod could be more fun and balanced.

Make the mechs move alot faster, and have alot less armour. It'd be cool to have more dodging and dynamic play.

Make it so that you have to force fire, and you can judge your shots accordingly. No just clicking on the enemy unit.

Make the upgrades depend on pick ups. Thus encouraging people to move about more. Maybe you could similate this by having indestructable extractors, and placing them at metal points gives you upgrades.

it seem you want released the badest fps never seens since 5years or more???
i not talk about your mod but abot the spring first view
maybee you must mod a real fps for this(like cod or bf2 or ut2048)
but i aprob the developement of the rts feature in spring(not ended i wish)

your texture are awfull for the first and clean but bad taste for second (i think it s fashion for here)
your 3d is not balanced between cubic or rounded
but see far that can be tolerat for the eye of player(only)
i dont talk about map
because im not thinking about playing in

Optimus it's a fun mod can't wait to see the implementation of classes.

And a bit off topic here but, me and my girlfriend have actually created a game out of deciphering emmanuel's posts. Does he even realize how unreadable all of this is? :lol: I'm pretty sure I'm winning right now, but we both lost points on the fuck in sky part... tricky.

Dude, my work in gundam is MUCH more complicated then the modeling you have done. My glory is coding, modeling, texturing, sound, balance all things moding.

Some of the cones look like they should be redone with less polies. Overall looking good, reminds me of an IS mech in a distant way (Argus iirc).

sorry that i have no update so far.
I need a short break from developing atm... will be only some days, but you know everyone has some days when he is unmotivated to do one of his hobbies and instead he is doing something else.
I will for sure go on on this mod, but give me a short break for real life and family.

The dgun missile is useless at the moment. As soon as you fire it, a vaguely intelligent will move and completely avoid it.

for the mod in this threat i prefere my models(the little number of ended)x100

my sounds= i haven t
my .tdf .fbi .3do .wings .3de =i prefere x100 !!!
that for this good reason for i m here and continu the work
if i prefere your mod i play with and don t mod myself=not now

'i study since 20years about video games war robotic mecanical and i hav a lot of idea and concepts =i love it
i love fps/rts jonction)

maybe you keep some nano use in your mod
it seems this a great loose to not can build in fps view"c"

and i not found how use 2 or 3 weapons in first person view "c" key ...???

If you dont like it so much then dont bother posting about it, and on top of that you take the opportunity to snipe at smoth who is being helpful while you are being a giant ass... just go die somewhere.

That later posted model looks very good, much better than some other stuff Ive seen, the textures are not optimus's but I admit they could be better, seriously would someone ban Emmanual..

I have to ask, has any action been taken against emmanuel, has he recieved warnings from moderators?

If not then there's something wrong here; yes language barrier blah blah blah. He obviously knows what he is saying and is freely insulting many people in the community, some of them being valued contributors.
