An addition request to the (cool) "alt zoom" feature from last release.
The idea is to be able to Hold the mouse cursor over the desired target zone, but to do it in the minimap aswel..
For example you make alt-zoom-in in the lower left corner, (in the minimap) and you are taken there in the bigmap.
A little tweak to the hm.. displacement box the Alt-zoom command generates.
What that means? if you alt-zoom in to somewhere.. it should move a bit (+-25%?) more towards that direction. Rigth now, i use alt zoom, then use the middle mouse button to make small correction in the pan.
cheers to someone
Alt Zoom from minimap.

Aint the same.
Thats why alt zoom exists, and it works like this:
1- get a glimpse of the hole battlefield (Cursor posittion not relevant)
2- Pick a point and zoom in (you must move the cursor to the desired spot, then alt zoom in).
(you can controll zoom in level btw).
To realize the difference, i would ask you to do use the alt-zoom feature.
What happens, is its a bit ... slow, to point the spot you want in the big map (2).
Its much easier to do it in the minimap.
(i think, as its much smaller, you can reach every spot faster).
Using RMB to "pan" in the minimap, is not, like using alt zoom, not close.
