I think the data would be better used in the much maligned wiki.

A tactic i've learned while playing random enemies (AA):
When the Krogoths start coming in, distract them with air/ground units while you get a ARM dragonfly to pick 'em up. Theyll be kicking and screaming in mid air :P . Note only heavy transport planes and hovercraft transport can pick up uberweapons. When they are picked up, detonate them either in the enemy base or on open land you control for ressurection, or capture with your comm while theyre hanging.

Also, when the enemy starts sending in goliath's (esp when they aren't backed-up with anti-air), distract them with some rocko's and warriors and other light and fast kbots while your big bertha's/inimidators and gunships/bombers pulverize them.

This may sound really obvious, but something I noticed when playing some xhc guys yesterday: build and push with your comm in the first 5-10 mins, instead of with construction bots. the comm gets stuff up MUCH faster. never use him to guard factories in the first couple of mins.

I think this is a matter of play style. Either you need to gaurd your factory with your com and send a lot of cons to the front, or send you com (and a con or two) to the front and guard your factory with a lot of cons. Either way gets the same thing accomplished.

But the com is also much better than lots of cons at guarding, because it doesn't have to unfold.

BOTH ways can work, whichever you're comfortable with / works best with the map

Get the best of both worlds by building a frontline factory and making your comm guard it

Here's a tip i use. If your a forget full person(like me :x), write "points" with tatical advice before and under the first 5 minutes. This can be usefull if you got a build que eteched into your skin.

"Note to self: Use second con to build E"
"Note to self: FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, DON'T FORGET AA THIS TIME!"
"Note to self: Reclaim trees and your own units IF YOU MUST."

And so on. >.>

Tip: You can also use Restore function with builders.

Playing a nuked out land I see?

No, I agree, building a small stretch of land around a previously sunken area can give you the low cost-flanking method you need.

Restoring is useful for maps where building anything means ground is deformed, and you dont want opponents to see all factory locations by ground deformation alone - restore area under labs quickly per lab.

Well, advertising brings readers, and now some sections of it are actually readable! Besides, Felix, there is always the little push to try and get other people to contribute!

Oh, no, this thread deserves to be necro'd. Hence the "at its finest!" part.

I think I asked for this to be stickied in one of my posts in it.

So, what about the wiki section. Anywhere you want us to take our writing?
