Wrong axis on FPS mode?

Post by PauloMorfeo »

Is it just me or is the mouse controls vertically mixed when we are using the FPS camera mode? (I think it's the FPS mode)

This way it seems more like when we play a aircraft simulation game with a joystick.

In all standard First Person Shooters, mouse-up changes the inclination of the camera to up and not down.

Also, when zooming in or out with the mouse wheel, it seems to be exchanged... When we move mouse wheel forward, one would expect the camera to zoom in and not zoom out.

This may be what it was intended and that's why i'm not putting it in a bugs thread.

What you guys think?

There's some people, like me, that are so used to inverted Y that they can't play any game without. There's other people that are so used to non-inverted Y that they can't play without. I think that having a tickeable "inverted mouse" in settings.exe is the only way to do. Luckily it is what the SY have done.
