You can replace it yourself afaik, just name the font file to the same as the one in the spring dir and overwrite it...

I know but these are some clear easy to read ones... I was making a suggestion that one of these would be a good replacement for the current one.

The current one is better than the old one, you have to give them that :P

My personal requirements for a good font are this:
-It must be legible at 800x600 (even though I usually run 900x700)
-It must have differentiated upper-case/lower-case letters

Some of those fonts don't do upper/lower case, and I tried out the Kharon set, which failed the 800x600 test. Smoth, do you use any of these? which ones do you know that are good for Spring?

It should be possible to choose the font (and size!) through the settings page IMO.

I'm sure even the curent fontsize doesnt live upto the 800x600 rule with half the buttons int he side menu being unreadable to most.

Right now Im using ORC A Extended. Its pretty cool, legible, and it fits the spring theme.

EDIT: Those fonts suck. One site that comes to mind for me is http://www.coffeecup.com/freestuff/fonts/. You have to have the font emailed to you, which is kinda annoying, but they have a very good selection.

Otherwise...google?
