Hi guys

Love TA. Spring run slow on PC but my friend raves about it.

Need help alpha channeling my first proper unit.

If someone could do it for me or help me do it I's be very grateful

spring doesnt support alpha channels i think

Not yet, but IIRC they are planning on making the secondary texture's blue channel into the alpha channel.

actually its more like all the modders want it and are bugging the devs for it. Im not sure how definite the implementation is (as in not next version but maybe in the future)

Sure, but the blue channel is unused and a rather obvious target for it.

I'm fairly sure that at some point in time we'll see the blue channel being a transparent channel. But as of now there is no ETA. IMO it's probably the highest priority wishlist item as far as modders/feature builders are concerned... I'm not sure what the current development stance on the issue is. I know jelmer has looked at it but I don't know if he intends to do it himself or if he's hopeing someone else will pick it up...
