NTAI-bundled AIs and radar AI
Hi, i've installed NTAI with its packaged unit AI's, like a AF metal maker AI and radar AI. I know the old metal maker AI, and the central build one, but i'd like to know what the others do. Thanks.

Thanks. The NTAI thread is huge and the relevant info is not edited back into he first post. Additionally, "radar" and "ai" are useless search terms in this forum because they show up too much. The wiki doesn't mention the radar ai. I get the others, but i was curious abour radar AI. Finally i also couldn't find any info on the radar AI on darkstars.
If you'd be so kind as to reply with what does the radar AI do, next time someone searches they'll probably find my post - "radar ai" is on the subject - and not bother you again.

Very nice AF, instead of explaining what it does you just say it doesn't workAF wrote:The radar groupAI is colorblinds creation and was bundled with spring. Lots of people ahve complaint lately that it doesnt work and I dont use it myself...

Well you must be of your rockers, it works perfectly fine.
What it does is the following: it gives the user a notification when an enemy unit enters LOS / radar. I always assign the AI to my commander at the beginning of a game.
Admittedly, the post in the forum has faded a bit, and it isn't in the Wiki. I'll update that.
Adv Metal AI v3 was meant to have the feature so you only needed to assign it to a single metal maker for every single metal maker to be under its control.
Once it was implemented it managed the metal makers and did everything it should, however the metal makers couldn't be turned on or off. Until groupAI's can give orders to units not in their group this feature cant be done.
Although, could you rename the thread, it's sorta re-enforcing the mistake that I made radar AI by saying NTai - radar AI, when its in-fact colorblinds work.

I have edited the thread title, i hope that's good enough.
The confusion i might have created about who made what AI was not my intention. It just so happens that the last version of spring changed something in the group AIs that it stopped working for me. I ran the updating installer and it didnt delete the group AIs i had gotten on my own initiative, and it wouldn't run until they were deleted. So i deleted them.
Since i miss the MM AI a lot, i did a full reinstall so i'd get the basic ones, and then i put NTAI on top because i read one of your forum posts where you mention the other group AIs you made. So that's why i tought you had made the radar one too.
