Object orgins in UPspring?

Post by Kixxe »

I got a model in upspring, really simple one, just hull and a barrel. I have assembled it as said in tuts (Base-Hull-barrel) and it's at the right place, but when i use the rotate command it rotates in the wrong place... So i was wondering if this matter ingame, and how i do to edit Object orgins UPspring so i can get it to rotate right...

The origins are what everything rotates around. The unit, the parts, etc. Personally I prefer setting the object origin in Blender (select the subobject, place the cursor where I want it, click "centre cursor", then use alt-G to put it at the world origin) before exporting the objects but you can also move them to the desired origin is at the center of the model and press "apply transformation" in Upspring.

This really belongs in the art and modeling forum....

apply transform will set an origon. I once was able to move the point around but I am not sure how I did that. Cool points for that info if someone has it.
