Rofl. Face it Knorke, there are people here who are very important to Spring. And it's not like Decimator was being pompous, he was asking a question.

I'm not aware of any female modders, admins, mappers, or really any important development role... Well, not for spring anyways, I know some that dev for HL mods. I really am not sure that's it's a nessicary distinction to make either way. Females are capable of working at the same level of guys in the aformentioned feilds, they really don't need to be classifed in thier own groups.

The word meow makes me think of my cat. My cat makes me think of annoying little critters that are too cute to light on fire.

Also why isn't there a "General Contributor" slot?

I'm best at modelling so I put that, although I can do almost anything with motivation.

Its called WorldWar: In the Balance, by Henry Turtledove .
Its basically "1942 and World War II is going full strength. Then...BAMB! Aliens invade!". Poor aliens. they came expecting what they found last time they visited earth (IE sword welding, arrow chucking, spear throwing savages) and what they have to fight turns out to be an industrialized, geared for warfare society.

So to crush our spirits they drop the bomb on Berlin. This immediately wins them the support of the Jewish populations. The aliens then begin to completely miss the point and think "Well if it worked on Berlin...maybe we should try Washington next...".

Anywho its a really good alternate history novel. The alien's are logically...alien (no bumpy foreheads). It's also got a lot of information about the life and times of World War II, even with aliens thrown into it for fun!

Check it out.
