How exactly would you improve the design of speedmetal? IMO it's pretty much perfectly designed. It does exactly what it's supposed to do and it does it perfectly. It's easily one of the best designed maps in spring, not because it's conventional, just because it's simple and it perfectly encompasses it's goal.

What would be nice is a map designed with epic battles in mind. No chokepoints, just 2 sides and loads of metal and wind.
Or at least a thicker bridge, the current SM one traps the AI later on.

Well yea, it does it job at being a sucky metal map VERY well.
