Re: Most recent thing you've killed?
Pretty sure mine was a spider too... it scared my wife, I rinsed it down the sink drain without squishing it. Technically possible it survived, but I doubt it. Spiders can survive underwater for over 24 hours. I think all you've done is piss him off. He'll be back, back for you and everyone you eve...

Re: best vid card for spring
spring ran smooth on my old 1.8ghz core2duo with 8600gt on medium graphics anything better then that (which is just about anything these days) would be more than enough for just spring. ATM im using e6750 c2d with 9600gt and that runs spring flawlessly, 400fps at beginning of game at medium graphics...

Re: Have you gone 64-bit? Impressions?
Forb I thought you'd have cottoned on to the concept of 'being trolled by someone else' by now. I'm well aware of the fact that he was trying to troll me (while sucking miserably). The more interesting question is why the mods let it happen. Perhaps because I wasn't trolling. After what some of the...

Re: Have you gone 64-bit? Impressions?
I think I'm going to pay more attention to someone who states the facts like Licho, as opposed to someone who seems to like to tell people what to think without anything real to support your point.

Re: Have you gone 64-bit? Impressions?
Still gets the point across, it doesn't matter who's fault the issues are, bottom line is it wont work on 64 bit so thats a reason to go 32 bit.

Re: Have you gone 64-bit? Impressions?
Make the switch to 64 bit there will be nothing else to do, but until then 64 bit sounds like more trouble then it's worth.

Re: Have you gone 64-bit? Impressions?
yes i know that it supports more ram i only have 3 GB anyway so there is no point for me to upgrade there. Which i said before (maybe you need to read before posting in future). And you say there is heaps of good reasons apart from more RAM support, but you don't say what they are so either there ar...

Re: Have you gone 64-bit? Impressions?
Why don't you bother reading and comprehend what i am trying to say. Sure you may know about this stuff but you are very thick headed. I was asking for WHY 64 bit is better not saying 32 bit is better.

Re: Have you gone 64-bit? Impressions?
Apart from more RAM support is there any advantage to 64 bit over 32 bit? Try thinking this through. After all, is 32 bit any better than 16 bit? Perhaps we should bring back ISA. hmm i wouldn't know first hand oldest computer Ive used is a 386, but i would think the speed increase would mostly be ...

I'm using windows 7 32 bit and have 64 bit sitting here but never bothered installing it because i only have 3 GB of RAM anyway and didn't see the point if there is no benefit and compatibly issues.

If you ask an admin really nicely or appeal to their ego, they could merge your account game time for you.
