Everything should be 100% original or legal to use except for a few Xect sound effects that I'd forgotten about. There might be a few Xect units that use OTA weapons as well. But that should be it for legal concerns.

It's very likely that the Xect also references to TA textures, sounds, etc.. The wreckage in the Xect references Cavedog textures. It *might* reference a weapon or two as well. Since neither have to be included in the download, you can still release it under GNU since it doesn't redistribute Cavedo...

^Yes, they are just UFO files renamed. I then made a special EXE that looks for .xen in place of .ccx. That's all there was to it.
