the thing is that it takes forever to get to t2 in nota. it means that alot of the time, front lines turn into veh arty battles which is really a shame... because of their range, it also removes the aspect that i love about nota, the battle tactics and the manouevering your armies into good position...

i find the fact that you call controlling ones army a 'menial task' rather disappointing to be honest... its only half of what a strategy game should entail. unit blends are extremely quick and easy to setup, dont tell me that you put your units to fight, and then think "3 raiders to every rock...

i partially agree with you on the artillery thing, but for me my only concern is the low traj, making them very strong even when your trying to push. with regards to rockos vs thuds, it can work, if you manage to catch your enemy off guard with a push, ive seen rockos beat thuds when the thuds weren...

i find that if you use veh nice and early, in combination with your own kbots they will rape a kbot only army.

i dont think having a weaker low traj attack will compromise that shift, but it will make the midgame slightly more dynamic rather than revolving entirely around artillery. you should be trying to get a balance in terms of army support units composition. atm, its a case of more artillery is almost n...

cant you make them not fire at units that are within a certain range instead then? and low traj doesnt help them fight doms/fidos in any way, it just helps them rape advancing kbot armies of hammers/rockos.
