No, I'm gonna jump straight to the next Spring release. The hardy package works fine now if installed directly into Intrepid. That's what i used. It seems to work fine except it always freezes when it tries to generate trees. Any advice for this "tree error" ? should i re-install spring?

We'll while i haven't figured out the weird compile problem, i have found a workaround. I have manually installed the .deb files provided for ubuntu hardy heron. The program seems to run fine.
