Re: the real bottleneck
What kind of system and OS are you running on? Any idea about the anon over on the right of the top row taking up about 10%? Can you post your replay.sdf so that other people can run it?

Re: Status of profiling
I'm thinking about having a pre-game checkbox, or setting in settings.exe, to enable or disable profiling for a given section. If you had a fine-grained choice of what profiling to run, are there any new sections of code you think should be available for profiling? Any already timed sections that sh...

Status of profiling
I see that there are some profiling hooks in the form of the SCOPED_TIMER macro, TimeProfiler.h and TimeProfiler.cpp. I don't see anywhere that the values a ScopedTimer or CTimeProfiler get printed or used. Are these intended only for use within a debugger? I think it could be useful to emit this da...

Re: Serious discussion regarding SSE/SSE2
Would there be any value to generating binaries with Intel's compiler and performance primitives? Maybe more to the point, how far is the project from being robust enough in floating point for output from that to interoperate between CPUs with different levels of instruction set support?

Re: Problem with finding dependencies on Fedora 8
I'm having this same problem on Windows. I'm using the version of Dev-CPP linked to on the wiki, and originally tried with scons 1.1.0. I've also tried 1.0.0, the oldest version on their website anymore.
