Re: Project 10 in 2010 - 1,000 players by the end of 2010

The whole campaigns & single player mode thing isn't only for learning to play, but to catch the new player interrest on the game, to give him the desire to play more, to give him... the fun... Personally, when I see how on-line play is actually going on with spring, I totally understand why mos...

Re: Project 10 in 2010 - 1,000 players by the end of 2010

I personnaly think we really need a single player mode, with campaign, to learn to play. This is how noobs will like the game, then become regular players...

hummm... I'm using latests nvidia drivers :-/
The weird thing is that the game is getting slower only when there's a lot of units on the map. The beginning of each game is perfect.

All this is working, yes, but I have a problem... Is it me, or is the linux version slower than the windows one ? I don't know if this has anything to do with the windows lobby emulation via wine, but my game is quite slower under linux as soon as there's a lot of units and/or animation on the map. ...

Just to add smthg about beryl : that's right, you have to disable it before launching another X server. But you can do it automatically, by sending the USR2 signal to the beryl-manager process. Then do it again to activate it back. It will just switch between beryl and the rescue window manager. kil...

I'm using another solution, which is working for every game and only got advantages. Just use a script to launch another X server and use "Ctrl + Alt + F7/8" to switch between your desktop and your game. Like this, it just rocks :-) My script is smthg like this : #!/bin/sh if (($#<1)) ; th...

YES ! This is it ! Thx LordMatt.

I thought I had the correct version of mods because I've installed the game & maps & mods very recently, but actually the replays I got were recorded about 1 month ago... And new versions of mods came out since that. :!:

Sorry guys... My mistake.

[SOLVED] I can't see any replays :-/

Hi all, First of all, thanks a lot for this amazing work. Spring and all the devs just rock ;-) Here's my problem : if I play in a game, I can see the replay, it works, but I can't see any other replays (found on the internet) ! It really bothers me because i'm still a noob and I would like to learn...
