Re: Can anyone compile a 40x40 map?

edit: I have opted for 32x32 instead. 1. That is because the map wasn't made for FFA to begin with. UK, Russia and Germany are intended to be their own sides in a three-way team game, yet Germany is supposed to have surrounding continent as allies and UK having Scandinavia. This new map, however, wi...

Re: Can anyone compile a 40x40 map?

Not quite sure what you mean is the problem? Or maybe this was some pop reference I didn't get. Your heightmap has to be 16-bit, the rest can be 8-bit. This is because you will have scaling effects in spring otherwise (looks like lines across the terrain, like on DSD). I don't understand how to get...

Re: Can anyone compile a 40x40 map?

... Good luck! Thanks for the tips. How did you compile it with SME though? Since it crashes if I load the heightmap. Could you send me the compiled map so I can see how it is ingame? And how can I practically edit a 16-bit grayscale IBM byte-order RAW file? PSP8 doesn't let me do this, or I can't ...

Can anyone compile a 40x40 map?

What the title says. This is my map: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/18409631/eurooppa_40x40.rar (download is only 460 kb) and I can't compile it. I have 64-bit Windows 7, Intel i7-2600K and 8 gb of RAM. MothersMapConv crashes upon loading the texture. MapConvNG first complained of missing libgcc_s_sjlj-1....

Re: Always out of sync

Seems like the problem has returned; I desync on BA again. I don't remmeber how it happened, but the problem fixed itself last time. Has no-one else heard of this issue before?

Request: simple building features

I'm making a 32x16 Europe map for Spring: 1944. http://i720.photobucket.com/albums/ww209/AuroraFinn/eurooppa-7.jpg I want to fill it with cities, towns and industrial areas. For that I'll need a few dozen building features like houses, factories, storages, commieblocks and just generic multiple stor...

Re: eXe's Free-For-All-Arena

Might I point out that Neurope wasn't made for FFA. It was made for three-way teamplay, the proposed starting areas are written in the description. Although it can be very fun in FFA as well.

Download fail / mod not found /

Every time I try to join a game, regardless of whether I have the mod or not, TASClient starts downloading the mod. If it doesn't fail, it finishes the download and then... nothing happens. I try to join again, and it starts downloading again. I then went to Spring Lobby, but it crashes every time I...

Re: Forming alliances in-game + seeing a list of alliances

Necropost! I have a fresh idea: Everyone starts out neutral, in peace with each other. People could then propose alliances or declare wars. Everyone would also have these options: [x] Auto declare war on allies' enemies [x] Auto propose alliance to allies' allies [x] Auto accept shared vic...

Though I didn't enable LUA back when the problem came to exist, I have it turned on now... I'll disable it.

Re: Balanced Annihilation V6.1

Ok, I have a major problem with this mod... I haven't been able to play it for half a year! :( When I join a server, I will eventually desync, and when I host, every player will eventually desync. I can't remember what changed back then when the problem showed up, nothing with my PC I'm sure... It m...

Re: Always out of sync

*necropost* Well, I still have this problem, but I have noticed that it only happens on Balanced Annihliation! I haven't tried normal XTA yet, but 1944 and Star Wars I can play and even host 16 player games without any problems. But on BA, I desync. Is there any way I could log the events and supply...

Could it be a connection problems perhaps? Limit on connections? Router improperly configured or windoze firewall interferring? ISP filtering something out you didn't know of? What connection problems? There are no limits I know of. Router - I have no idea how to configure it, but I'm pretty sure n...

Tried that now, didn't help.

How can I find these minor defects?
