Spring RTS Engine

The aiming system needs to be smoothed out. That is a MAJOR issue.

I want to design a 1st person shooter mod for TA:Spring. As we know, by pressing the 'c' key, a player may go into 'driving' or 1st person mode. Therefore, to start, all I need is: 1. Wepon Scripts. 2. Human Models. 3. Sounds. 4. A test battle field. 5. 'Unit' Scripts. I can quickly produceound soun...

Instantly crashes, game can't even start.
My drivers seem to be updated fully.

I've got something, I've found out that the SiS 760 card is chtt. But. It sould still work. If I turn on "3D Trees", TASpring will crash, same way, no waring, before sky, now, it crashes on ground/trees. The 'old spring', the 'old old spring', and the 'other one'...they all work. lol I won...

Yeahhhh.....that may not work, ya know. I really, sadly think you need upgrades. Though, personally, I wish there was a quick fix.

Guessmyname, I don't think your haveing an issue with TA SPRING at all, I would have to say, call up the people that made your computer....

LOL, my CPU runs at 3.1, not my windows, how did i let that happen... lol windows 3.1

I do NOT think it is my graphics card.




I have tryed that.

I tryed reinstalling, and it's not my comp, I tryed FOUR YEAR OLD computer, it worked, but it won't run on mine.

Crashes on startup, i cannot connect to the loby with this old program.
What should i do? I use a SiS 760, 480 RAM.

Thanks, i think you've helped me there, because now i'm quite sure my vid card can handle it. I'm useing the normal maps, the TWO that come with the program. I've tryed it normal with XTA, that crashed, then got AA. And with the AIs, i've tryed to play online. No AIs. VS other users. Crashes... I'm ...

I have run things as: Grand Theft Auto Vice City, and Call Of Duty [One].



And i've turned EVERYTHING down, it's gonna look like crap, but i don't care, I know there's a secret, files to delete, a thing to turn on or off....something.

Everytime I try to load spring, it crashes on startup, I read the readme , and have lowsered my settings to the very lowist. I have updated my video card diver and it still willl not work. I have tyed it on a total of 4 computers, non of them where able to launch spring. I have NOT installed any mod...
