Spring RTS Engine

does anyone remember the mod "Gun_Wings_Test"?
It was fairly popular back around 1.5 years ago. It was a mod where you were given a plane that you used in FPS mode, and you had to shoot everyone else down. It was good fun.

Spring takes a lot longer to install than I remember.

okay... so I've been gone for nearly 2 years now.

I'm going to try and come back to playing spring again.
I realize a lot has changed, but it all looks really good.

All my old LUA scripts will still work right?

well crap, I'm behind on BA. I still have the BA 5.3 build. A lot has probably changed since then.

I haven't heard any information on this mod in a long time.

Is this mod still being created... or is it finished( just stopped)?

I loved this mod, it was fun playing with current weapons.

As a short question as someone who never had an interest in red alert etc. Is C&C3 like generals in that it is a race to who gets the ultimate weapon first? no, I don't even see the super weapons used in CnC3, but in generals, the first person to super weapon didn't have big advantage, because ...

I bought it, it's amazing, definitely a lot different than TA or SupCom, but it's still good. The CnC series is what got me into RTS's, so it's nice to see it back.
