Thanks guys.
The devs on this project rock pretty hard. Spring is hands down the best opensource game I know of.

Status of Linux Multiplayer
Hi, What's the status of multiplayer on Linux? I'm aware that there are several AIs that may work on linux, but what's going on with the real meat of the game? * Does the lobby work? * Does the game work between Linux clients? * How close is fully synchronized multiplay between Mac, Windows and Linu...

Berthas did not fire
Hi, I was involved in a 4 player FFA today on AA 2.1. I built seven berthas in the middle of Greenhaven and put them on "hold fire" as soon as they were built. When it came time to fire, they refused. They would not fire. I tried them in all fire modes (FAW, hold fire, return fire) and non...

Quickest Path to Compile
What's the most headache-free path to compiling Spring on Windows? In the stickied dev thread, it is unclear whether people are able to compile Spring in 2005, or if '03 is required to do so. I currently have VS2005. That pukes, can't find SDL_Types.h. Do I need an SDL SDK installed to compile this?...

Trees
The graphics engine is currently pretty damn beautiful, especially if you have shadows turned on. But there's a sore spot: trees look terrible. They look like random green blotches. What needs to be done to improve this? Is it textured tree models? If that's the case, I'd love to help. Someone let m...
