Doing this is one of those things that "Sounds cool" but in practice sucks. Why? Because you're going to get stuck in an arbitrary turnrate that can't be exceeded otherwise what is in your graphic happens. And if you decide to limit it to a certain angle, then it's just going to look silly turning ...

I checked others spads server with 104.0 abd BA10.24 and there are no problem with it. Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure you are mistaken. BA 10.24 requires a version newer than 104.0, any other hosts running that combination won't work. You need a maintenance build. Launching a game of 10.24 in singl...

I returned to spring this month, and there are so many engines in use! I downloaded the Linux 103.0 engine and tried to play a BA game with springlobby. I think that it would be a misstake to drop Mac since it's obviously a growth platform and there is really no extra work since it's built from unix just like linux. Maybe share the arguments he used to convince you to go for OpenGL instead of Vulkan? Sure Well, it turns out that Vulkan is well-known to require a tonne of boilerplate code i.e. when you're learning, learning Vulkan gets in the way of learning 3D gfx. Makes sense. At this point I'm more concerned about Spring running on Mac. Helping with SL will probably come later, probably when I need a break from getting nowhere. But yes, that's a possibility. I'll keep it in mind.

Also, ivand successfully convinced me to start with OpenGL instead of Vulkan.

But you can already contribute to SL without knowing anything of [graphics] programming. I would feel terribly frustrated working on SL's UI. If it was something other than WX, maybe? But I'm thinking about the internals. The C++ part. But I'd need time to work on it, and something specific to work...

I'm getting the same error. Not on every page. I can reach my own player page alright, but none of the games, and only one other person's player page iirc (I can't remember who it was)
