For 3dsmax, thats the exact opposite. Nurbs in max are "horrible" but it has pretty good mesh (poly) editing cababilities.3dsmax is HORRIBLE for your old fashion mesh editing but the nurbs are cool then again I am a noob to modeling but I hope I was somewhat informative.

Yea its the smallest map size. 1024x1024 texture map and height (etc) are 129x129. I made it small to speed up the compiling since im only learning and experimenting stuff, so small is good... for now. :) Note that the bright blue are is separate from all the rest, its not part of the water plane or...
