Re: Where Spring stores downloaded games?
Abma, thank you for very quick reply!
I'm a bit surprised why games now have so small size (just 100-200Kb). So there is no point to removing them for clearing hard drive.
Best regards,
Eugene

I've read that spring on mac should store games at ~/.spring/games, but in my case such folder is not available in spring home: cd ~/.spring ls -a . .. .DS_Store cache maps packages pool rapid unitsync.log...

Re: Frequent crashing
1-2 years ago I was building Spring engine myself for Lion and was getting crashes during gameplay. I used official manual from this site. Maybe it is worth to check current Spring version too.

Same here — run spring in safe mode and get crashes too. If you have a new mac build, then you have one more tester : )

Re: Still don't know how to install spring under OSX 10.8
Weblobby is a bit unstable and automatic download doesn't work (at least for me). You need to manually download game modes (for instance, Balanced Annihilation), game maps and put them in corresponding folders at spring home folder. You could use weblobby for getting correct URLs from where you can ...

Re: Frequent crashing
I see frequent game crashes too. I'm using MountainLion, Spring 94.1 and LoadingMT=0. Infolog is attached. One time during spectating a game I had game crash, then I reconnected to the game and had watched the game to the end without any crashes. So issue is a bit weird. Edit: even if I run game in ...

Re: Crash on game start: 10.7.4/Lion, Spring_91.0.app
In order to run spring in a safe mode, type this into console (if you are located in the Applications folder): ./Spring_91.0.app/Contents/MacOS/spring --safemode In order to attach gdb, type: gdb /Applications/Spring_91.0.app/Contents/MacOS/spring Then after gdb initialization type the letter "...

Re: Spring 89 game start crash on ML
does it crash when you start it with "spring --safemode", too? It works in that safe mode — map is loaded, commander appeared on the surface (console output attached). can you attach the output of gdb: "thread apply all bt full" Done. Please, see other attached file (I started s...

Re: Spring 89 game start crash on ML

I tried to start the game with several different bot types and watch a battle using web lobby — game crashes. Start game in fullscreen and window mode — same behavior. can you run it with gdb ...

Hello friends,
I'm using Mountain Lion. Spring app starts normally, but when I try to launch a singleplayer game, app crashes. How can I fix it?
Regards, Eugene
