It would beat a beginner that doesnt rush too. Now to make a chess engine that will beat a beginner... how many lines of code would it take? All the simple engines ive seen are in the 2k+ line range... But if we are just talking super basic vs a noob, then the chess engine could be super basic too,...

did you try the KBOT called tic vpulse, cause i tried again, and it locks up the game totaly.

It also locks up the clients connected to the game. They dont just get a lost connection to server message, they have to restart their computers too. so its not just me.

Theres a nasty system halting crash bug in this mod.

If you build a tic VPulse kbot and tell it to attack one of your own units = instant whole system lock up.

it happened in 102 but I thought it was a fluke. twice though = bug.



What does vpulse even do?

one more thing to look into in the AI, is that if you have multiple NTAI's running I think it generates the metal info for the map mutiple times. Because it seems to take much more time the more NTAIs you add. Infact it seems to generate the metal info file everytime you play the same map. Maybe you...

ok, I did some more testing and it seems that NTAI just doesn;t like allys.

if its allied with anything it usualy just does nothing now.
It should just ignore allys, but otherwise act the same, so then it would focus on enemies.

thanks for hte quick fix.

One thing though, it cant seem to play 2v2 anymore.
I like playing coop with friend vs 2 bots, but if I put two NTAI on the same Ally then one of them does nothing.

That version you just posted does not work atall, on any map. The game starts up, then it just hangs there, then the error in global ai box (contact ai maker) pops up. and im back in windows. The bug I get alot with this ai mod, especially in multiplayer like 2humans vs 2 ai or ffa, is that that NTAI commander just sits there sometimes and doesnt do anything at all.
