Does this happen if you gave a con veh to the AI in single player mode and tried to capture it? |

Unable to reproduce, assuming the kbot belonged to an old AI without capture-support in lieu of more information and infolog. If you get the crash again reopen and attach the stacktrace, otherwise this is impossible to follow up on. |
