| Description | Just like what the topic said :-) It doesn't seem to happen for SP games (without CGameSetup), but I have attached a PURE [1] demo (on Darkside remake [2]) that shows the issue. I haven't tested whether it always happens with MP games, but it does seem to happen always with the attached demo file. It says the demofile is corrupt when I try to start this. Could you please retest it with rev >= 5009? Thanks |

Ah demo version check code is a bit strict (would need to set VERSION_STRING to exactly same to load demo). I have relaxed that now (if DEBUG is #defined the VERSION_STRING check is not compiled anymore), so you should be able to watch the replay using r5010. |

I still get the same error. And even when I comment the error out (so it continues like normal) I get an other error: Content error: Parse error 'brace or further name value pairs expected' in buffer at line 125 column 23 near numrestrictions=0; |

strange; I don't get that error myself. If I comment the check out or run in debug mode, the demo replay works fine now, so closing the bug. |
