Summary | 0000628: D-gun behaviour is not right | ||||||||
Description | For example, your commmander stands in a wreckfield, or some area with Trees, enemy tanks come. You want to Dgun. You happen to click on a wreck, the commander starts to walk and after a while it fires the Dgun, while it should just fire the shot!. In fact Dgunning should just overrule everything, and instantly fire the shot. I hope this made sense | ||||||||

I think I've got it in my local working copy. It's a small change but with potentially big consequences (dgunning coms behave in "interesting" ways.) In other words, it'll need TESTING! do you hear me, you who have over 9k apm? ;p |

I did some tests with 4448 the dgunning works much better, but sometimes the commander does some crazy moves, like turning his body really hard. I tried to make some demos but somehow they end up being 1kB files... |

demos are probably a separate issue. I know about those crazy turns, not sure what causes them, but IMHO it's better to have it working as it is now than as it was before. |
