same user as 0005725, hangs in the usual spots ([Game::PostLoadSim (WeaponDefs)] 14589ms) plus eventual forced kill.

the reason "PostLoadSim (WeaponDefs)" shows up so often is that *all* weapon sounds are loaded (43MB of uncompressed wavs in ZK) during that stage, which upsets laptop drives with poor data seek / transfer rates.

as for the other hang(s), I have a hunch that the loading process triggers disk swapping for some users.
