While a discussion could be held about what hardware "should" be able to run ZK the fact remains that 99% of all commercial Windows-only games target MS's Direct3D API, not OpenGL. Hardware vendors consequently spend far more of their resources writing *Direct3D* drivers which are stable so cross-platform games using OpenGL run into snags from underdeveloped ICD's. You covered the rest with "you get what you pay for". The traces are (as usual) copies of 0005527 / 761. |
