ingame, type "/roam" once without quotes or set ROAM=1 in springsettings.cfg

Thank you. I can just assume that some default for that has changed? Actually the graphics are garbled with "/roam 1", not with "/roam 0" or "/roam 2".

Another indication that there could be an issue (with libunitsync) might be that I no longer get a map preview in "spring web lobby", although this might be an issue with the lobby itself.

With ROAM=0 the legacy (pre-ROAM) mesh renderer would be loaded in 103.0, while in development builds a new (third) renderer takes precedence over it that is faster than both, but requires modern graphics hardware to run.

ROAM=1 in springsettings does not have the same meaning as "/roam 1" anymore.

Lack of map preview seems like a completely different issue.
