Summary0005375: Corpses always emit a smoke effect that cannot be changed -> convert to CEG emit?
DescriptionI would like to be able to use CEGs to emit effects from corpses instead of being stuck with the very geovent looking smoke that gets emitted currently.

avoid breaking backward compatibility.

for example, they can add an option do disable the builtin behavior, then you can use a gadget or unit scripts to spawn the desired CEGS.

I'm pretty sure infantry corpses in S44 don't emit smoke. so it's possible to disable it, not sure how though.

https://springrts.com/wiki/Gamedev:FeatureDefs#Visual has smoketime which allows you to remove the default effect.

you can then emit whatever effects you want with lua.
