| Description | Now that Shard has been removed from the build process, there are no actively maintained AIs bundled with Spring anymore, wether we like it or not the AI interface is dead. Nobody has been maintaining it, the documentation is nonexistant, and we don't provide the generated wrappers, making it impossible for new developers to examine the API without a spending an hour downloading and building the spring source code. The legacy AIs, AAI, KAI etc aren't fit for purpose and have been similarly abandoned. The API also lacks tests of any kind, and no unit tests were ever considered | ||||
| Additional Information | Removing the AI interface should speed up the build process and remove the awk scripts which very few understand or enjoy. Pure lua AIs inside game content are the future | ||||
