Summary0004707: Gunships cannot enter repair pads
DescriptionGunships get stuck when entering air repair pads. They get stuck over the pad and start vibrating. They do not take move orders after this but keep trying to enter the pad without success.

Tested with XTA and BOTA, not able to reproduce in BA or TechA (maybe use different type of repair pads).

This is an old issue. I tested old engine versions and found it first appears in 90.0, whereas in 89.0 there is no problem entering pads.

Also maybe related to https://springrts.com/mantis/view.php?id=4616 but this is a different issue from just the vibration.
Steps To ReproduceTested with XTA test-943 with spring versions 89.0, 90.0 and 98.0.1-433-g5bf2861

Able to reproduce in 90.0 and after.

Pastebin with arm_air_repair_pad.fbi, in case relevant:

Edit: I found out that this is caused by elevated brakerate of the gunships. Decreasing the brakerate by 90% solves the problem. I was stupid to look only at the repair pads and not at the units.

Maybe it is still of interest that something strange happens when units with high brakerate are ordered to a repair pad: there seems to be some conflict between the engine and some gadget that drives up the fps cost when this happens, in addition to not being able to enter the pad.

This is the screenshot I wanted to add but it said it was too large to upload:

The fps-cost can be restored to normal with luarules disable.

I think this is no longer a major issue => minor.

Repair pads were removed, lua should be capable of implementing them in a clean manner.
