This appears to occur the first time installing a new map, almost as if Spring is trying to check the content prior to the content install finishing.

My apologies, I'm in school so I'm slow to respond at times.
Where do I find/generate the infolog? And I'll let you know which lobby once I'm able to

Note: Infolog says Spring 91.0 but the bug report claims to be for Spring 98.0.

It would probably be good to try with the latest engine (which is 98.0) and then post a full infolog - not one that is truncated at the error message. The folder structures used by newer versions are Spring are different.

I'm using the Spring download on the main website. It says the download is for Spring 98.0. When I went to download the installer, it shows up as a copy of the original installer which I still had on my machine. When running either, it says that it's installing Spring 98.0, but that Spring 98.0 already exists.

What should I try next?

this very likely is a lobby bug and not an engine bug.

zero-k lobby very likely forces you to use spring 91.0, so installing spring 98 manually doesn't help. zero-k should download the required map for you, if not its a zero-k lobby bug (imo).

from infolog.txt:

Spring 91.0

you possible can manually fix the "content not found" error by placing the maps into C:\Users\zolphinus\Documents\My Games\Spring\maps

i don't see an engine bug here. i hope this information helps?

Makes sense. The maps do download correctly, just the launcher displays that error message the first time, then subsequent times work correctly. So the bug wasn't to get the maps working, but to figure out why the sequencing was throwing the error.

In detailed order, I'd click on whichever campaign item and be prompted to download the map. I'd click download. While the map is downloading, nothing of note happens. The error message springs up, telling me that the content is not found, yet the download had been completed. Then I retry that campaign item and it loads without complaint.

The issue seems to be that the "Content Not Found" check is occuring prior to the content being fully installed, it's always at 99% when the error message occurs, and always the first time a given content item is installed.
So the zero-k lobby is grabbing the correct files and able to play them, just complains that they are missing on initial download.

Is this still a lobby issue?

yep, clearly a lobby bug. it shouldn't allow / start the game until download is completed.
