GL renderer: Intel 965/963 Graphics Media Accelerator does safemode work? |
safemode doesn't fix it. I think the infolog is identical (including the stacktrace numbers) except with "--safemode" being written at topmost line. |

go in your bios and increase shared vram |
I don't have option for shared Vram in BIOS & it didn't say how much RAM is being reserved. But Intel website says its maximum memory is 384MB and dxdiag window says 358MB https://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/intel-gma-3000-and-x3000-developers-guide |
from http://www.pvladov.com/2013/10/increase-intel-hd-graphics-dedicated-video-memory.html "right click on your desktop, select Screen resolution and then click on Advanced settings. A window with your video card properties will open and you will see the memory your Intel HD Graphics is using in the "Adapters" tab" how many dedicated video memory is used? (358MB is enough, i'm not sure if its the same value as from dxdiag. for me dxdiag shows a wrong/different value) |
Awesome! I got: Total available graphic memory: 358MB Dedicated memory: 0MB System Video memory: 128MB Shared System memory: 230MB (this laptop is not using IntelHD) |

The gpu is ancient and the drivers are from hell, neither does Intel ever release driver updates. Only solution to fix it is switching to linux, there the drivers are MUCH better. |
