FYI: lobby protocol only distingish between version strings, not build-config. build-config shouldn't affect sync, but syncdebug builds imo do. -> version string returned by unitsync should change |

yes and no: it depends on the definition of a desync. syncdebug builds have additional netcommands. when sync & syncdebug build is run, and a desync occurs, the "normal" build just continues to run while the syncdebug build tries to send / receive the debug info. i would add syncdebug to the version info because running a syncdebug with a "normal" build totally breaks the purpose of a syncdebug build. imo it makes no sense to run syncdebug with normal builds. |

because autodownload could fetch a syncdebug build if needed. else it will always fetch the normal build. this can/could be fixed by making lobbies recognizing "build config" as well, but not sure whats better. if lobby regognizes it somehow, the user would have to _always_ select what he wants to download, with syncdebug in version it could be automaticly selected. |
