This message was reported due to missing/hard-to-find search feature in your bug tracker. I have never tried to search for similar bugs since search feature in mantis is obscure and hard for understand by average user.

Which package? Map or mod? In combination with mod/map?
Which spring version?
Updating or normal installation?
Did you already try a clean install?
What is the ID of the earlier bug (since you suggest you found another even tho you didn't search:?)

Anyway, you will need to provide more information otherwise this report is useless.

I downloaded file named "spring_0.74b2.exe" from site.
Launched it. It is installer.
After installation i launched 'Spring test'.
Any selection now gives me message above.
For example:
Random enemies
Random Map
Random Mod
So this is:
Clean installation
Version probably 0.74b2 (guessed from file name)?
First install
What is package?
My system: Windows XP

Don't know id of earlier bug, but since i can't even launch the game i can guess that there are already many such bugs?

Could you try reinstalling in an empty directory (maybe you put it in Total Annihilation directory?), and choosing XTA v8.1 mod and SmallDivide.smf map?

Report back whether that works or not.

This works. Please note that i still selecting "Random" in "Script" screen.

So it works now with every mod/map?

Yes, it works with every combination i tried.

But random/random/random still doesn't work. Even after several
successful launches.

Why don't you tried to reproduce it yourself and asking me instead? It
is always reproducible.

Ah, I now understand you. You probably mean you chose "Random Enemies" or "Random Enemies 2" in the first (script) menu, as there is no "Random" entry in it. Random Enemies only works if the mod contains a file spawn.txt, or you put such a file in spring's directory yourself. Not every mod contains this file.

This has nothing to do with the bug tho. The bug is that "Random" in the mod menu doesn't work.
