Summary0003711: any version of win7x64 springrts (single multi mt) is (more) laggy
Descriptionspringrts engine was never a quick software but evrything become worst
i still upgrading my hardware and it get always more laggy :
now i start to lag when 200units are in game in solo
when before it was with 400 *2 units
each version give a 15% of better but not change the fact its more lag than ever despit 4core and 16Gb ram and 1Gb vram
Steps To Reproducepaly springrts 0.78 and compare

there are two known bugs in 94.1 which mostly cause performance problems:

Healthbars widget & LogFlush!=0

about which game are you talking? afaik there is some change that caused some units to cause a horrible cpu lag. ZK + some chicken units for example.

i was wrong about weapon not shooting !!

im reporting about my own unit self made who are unchanged and tested since 2years and worked correctly despit all unoptimised scripts


i removed all wifgets and dont use any gadgets or gui or ceg
there is only basic units with turet and walk anims
i cannot compare on other pc because moddev is empty ever

/cheat /give cause lag start at 200unit at screen (maybe syncronised animdef scripts?)

still the lag is true i tested in XTA 99 core_ak vs 99 core_ak
this make my framerate droping from 600 to 150 when spawned to 8 during all the time they shoot each others trought the very few lasts fights(maybe 5)

i made more tests:
using damage=1 reduce the lage per two ;
reducing the aera of effect to 1 do the same;
surprisingly :craterareaofeffect=0, make the weapon still damage the ground : so i cannot know if it map related or not
