in addition to the sync error, I should also mention that this exe did not allow switching to another process, when it does, it freezes the entire system and makes it unusable until either the process is killed or switched back to it

also when returning to the process, the game is disconnected

you might want to disregard the sync error, I may have had a path file from another version present at the time, the other issue is valid.

there is something else, at high cpu loads reaching 100% the sound is messed up and interrupted

Sure?

> spring-MT 94.01

Is that 94.1 or 94.0.1?

I ran the demo with both versions and saw pile of idle units after a few minutes. Trace files showed no deviations.

it's spring-MT 94.01 that's right, 94.0.1 looks the same to me as 94.01, my mistake

it's the unofficial 94.01 release http://springrts.com/wiki/Spring_MT

Please check whether 94.01 spring-mt.exe behaves different compared to the official 94.0 spring-multithreaded.exe
The only difference I can think of that could explain this is the CPU affinity configuration of spring-mt
If there is a difference, please test this setting with spring-mt.exe:
SetCoreAffinityAuto = -1

I have had similar problems, but they have all been due to bad GFX driver.
