can't reproduce, but my gfx doesn't allow all features to be enabled:

i noticed the fact in empiric manner :
both in springrts & battlefield3 ² planetside2
my ati fanless hd4850 make the computer shut down
if i zoom max on grass/ground
and not when i zoom out
and watch a huge battle all the map covered of stuffs
( i added on the box fans coolers for prevent it when gaming)
