Occurs with groundscars and unit tracks as well. Zooming in close reproduces the bug easily. |

This is probably not news, but it is related to the fact that the decals world pos coordinates are calculated from the heightmap. ROAM allows a small amount of error in order to optimize when creating the terrain. Thus clipping results, especially in areas that arent flat, or have been heavily leveled by constructing the building. |

we know. this issue is old, not specific to roam (just more prone to occur than with the legacy terrain renderer), and on the wontfix list. |
