| Description | It used to be possible to shutdown dedi server by saying "/kill" from the autohost. Now it appears to ignore that. How to make dedicated server shutdown after game over? | ||||

could it be that it is flushing the buffer to infolog.txt? guess that should not take very long though. |

Im waiting very long and its not responding to /kill either strange.. Also this issue is breaking demo file pairing with game.. |

hmm /kill ... yeah that could be due to changes in how commands are handled. |

Licho helped me setup springie, with which i tried to reproduce this. i was not able to (/kill worked as intended). i ran a 1 minute game of ZK, CAI vs CAI, then used the springie !exit command, which issues a /kill over the UDP auto-host connection to spring-dedicated. i used spring 84.0 (DEBUG build) on linux. Licho though, maybe he just needs to wait longer for spring-dedicated to close. |
