Description | 0.82.3-3521-g1425c8e In spring 1944 1.53 RC3 the sniper cannot hit targets at the edge of their range even on flat terrain. They can hit their target at maximum range in 82.7.1 When I lowered the weaponVelocity from 1500 to 100 it would start hitting in 0.82.3-3521-g1425c8e aswell. | ||||||||
Additional Information | I looked for other units in other mods and I could only find/think of was the arm_shooter in XTA 9.66. In XTA 9.66 the shooter can't hit targets at the edge of its range when it stands higher than its target(propably lower aswell). In 82.7.1 it can hit the target even when standing on highground. In the screenshoot you can see the corpse of one the soldiers who died from a shoot while the sniper can't hit the others. | ||||||||

please define what you mean by "cannot hit": do the projectiles disappear before reaching the second-to-right target, do they reach it but pass through, or does the unit refuse to fire at any of the three standing soldiers at all? in the second case, how are the collision-volumes of the soldiers defined? |

The sniper(gersniper) projectiles are invisable but I think they disappear like the shooter blue laser fades away. I can track the bullets of the snipers on the minimap but its hard to tell from that. Its easier with the XTA shooter. I tried it against arm_peewee. |
