Summary | 0002437: "Sticky" mouse movement and clicking while spring (BA 7.31) runs
Description | With no changes and no new downloads/version of Spring, I opened Spring today and during spectator mode the mouse is not responsive. It moves, but does not move the full distance it should and "feels sticky". All mouse clicks are also unreliable. 4 out of say 5 mouse clicks doesn't register. I run spring in windowed and multi-threaded mode and the problem will persist if i bring up another program on top of spring. The problem disappears when I minimize or close spring.

Try enabling 'Hardware Cursor' in springsettings UI tab. |

Ok, I just tested latest master (2033) and indeed, the mouse jerkiness is very noticable. Scroll is jerky with keyboard too. Happens with hwcursor on and off, win7 x64, 8800gt. |

Especially with the click drops, the severity on this is major. Frame rate was >60 while testing. |

Oh so I wasn't going crazy :) The problem has not resurfaced for me since then (the worst kind of bug to track down I'm sure) and yes I did try enabling/disabling the hardware cursor thing to no effect. |
